Margetsons is not a store front shop and therefore is subject to different circumstances where it is not easy to resell a product you return. Therefore we will return you all money on a product where that the product is damaged, faulty or in needing repairs, but only where that product has been the fault of the manufacturer/ supplier or from transit from Margetsons itself. If you damage the product yourself and you had read all instructions and listen to all advice given, You are not at fault and Margetsons will again refund. However if you damage the product due to you neglect of an instruction or advice then you are at fault and Margetsons reserves the choice based on the circumstances on partial or no refund, or an exchange, or exchange with fee.

Before purchasing you should consider size, colour and care instructions as these are the main reasons for returns. By choosing wisely you will agree it saves you time and money and maintains your enjoyment of our service and range. We prefer you being advised well on a product then trying something and then needing to refund.

There are three types of refunds defined by margetsons. These are:

Change of mind: where you find you like or interest in the product has changed since purchase

Incorrect quality: something about the product (size, colour or another quality) is not what you had in mind, since you recieved it.

Faulty : where a product is damaged, marked, stained or stitches coming undone.

After purchasing the product, you are entitled to cancel on condition that the product is not in transit. Changing your mind is not a valid reason to return the item, to get a full refund. In this case the commission fee will be kept as well as the product and is expected to be returned before any refund is made. The method of payment is the method of refund, with no exception. Fraudulent attempts to gain a discount or refund could result in Margetsons refusing further purchases. All products that can not be refunded or exchanged, for legal reasons, health regulations or other reasons will be clearly stated in the description of the product.

Pillows Quilts and Underlays

Due to health regulations, change of mind pillows, quilts and underlays will not be exchanged or refunded. We will exchange or refund faulty products or where you have been lead to believe a benefit that is lacking but is a fact and not your opinion. For example if a soft pillow is not soft enough, it does not make that product fraudulent in its claim. However if you buy a fitted sheet that states it is a queen size and it is too small, and then discovered to be a Double size then you are entitled to exchange or refund, to do this the product needs to be examined by Margetsons and then we will contact you with a choice of refund or exchange.

We endeavour to advise you on the products you are thinking of buying, so if you take the product home and then notice the fact that was stated was true, then you are not entitled to a refund.

  • Choosing carefully in making your selection.
  • Keeping your receipt/ invoice
  • Contact Margetsons for all dealings with refunds, exchanges (Failing to contact Margetsons before the manufacturer may result in prolonged ability to help with returns or exchanges.)
  • Always look at the description of each product for details that could affect refunds or exchanges on the site.
  • Where you are unsure or not entirely aware of something please contact us before making a purchase.
